Don Alexander
Don Alexander, Ph.D.
Malaspina University-College

Don Alexander is a professor of Geography at Malaspina University-College in Nanaimo. He is also the research director for the New City Institute based on Vancouver. Don is the lead author for two BC Sprawl Reports conducted for Smart Growth B.C., and is the second author for a report on the state of smart growth Canada-wide (available on this web site). He has written numerous other articles on sustainable cities, smart growth, and growth management, and teaches on these same subjects.
